Sandviken DataCenter Academy – SDCA (ideell förening) arbetar för en ökad digital kompetensnivå i regionen, förbättrad integration och en positiv och hållbar social utveckling genom att skapa ett datacenter i världsklass. Där igenom stärks regionens attraktivitet och konkurrenskraft genom ökad digitalisering och social utveckling.
Genom en donation från Microsoft på hårdvara har Sandviken Datacenter Academy tillsammans med Winthrop byggt upp en datahall. Detta ger möjlighet att erbjuda utbildningsanordnare och företag möjlighet till utbildning och kompetensutveckling.

Digital kompetensutveckling för medlemmar (företag)
Vi erbjuder företag och organisationer medlemskap i föreningen, som ger:

- möjlighet att påverka vilka utbildningar, föredrag och testbäddsverksamhet som vi kan erbjuda.
Samhällsutveckling genom digitalt inkluderande
- Föreningen arrangerar event, utbildningsinsatser och föreläsningar för digitalt ”underprivilegierade” grupper. Både unga och äldre.
- Erbjuda kommunens innevånare tillgång till föreningens datalab och etablera samverkan med sociala samhällsutvecklande aktörer.
