Sandviken DataCenter Academy och Sandvik Group IT fick besök från Dataingenjörsprogrammet på Högskolan i Gävle. Deltog gjorde Åke Wallin, Utbildningsledare på Dataingenjörsprogrammet på HiG med en kollega och 22 elever.
Pasi Yrjänheikki från Sandvik Group IT tog emot halva gruppen och berättade tillsammans med kollegor bl. a om ”Sandviks journey to the cloud”!
Sam Cole och Lena Modin från Sandviken DataCenter Academy tog emot den andra halvan av gruppen där eleverna informerades om SDCAs verksamhet och fick uppgifter av Sam att utföra i SDCAs datalabb
Efter halva tiden samlades alla för fika hos Sandvik Group IT för att sedan växla grupper.
A study visit from the University of Gävle
Sandviken DataCenter Academy and Sandvik Group IT welcomed a visit at Sandbacka Science Park from the Computer Engineering Programme at the University of Gävle. Attending was Åke Wallin, Head of Education at the Computer Engineering Programme at HiG, one of his colleagues and 22 students.
Pasi Yrjänheikki from Sandvik Group IT hosted half the group and together with colleagues he talked about “Sandvik’s journey to the cloud”!
Sam Cole and Lena Modin from Sandviken DataCenter Academy hosted the other half of the group. The students were informed about SDCA´s work and activities and were given tasks by Sam to perform in SDCA´s computer lab.
Halfway through, everyone gathered for coffee at Sandvik Group IT and then exchanged groups.
